Aluminum Flux

During Al-Brazing, it is necessary to remove the oxide film generated on the surface of the AI welding material and the base material to be stable.
Brazing is possible
The role of Al-Flux is to remove the oxide film and at the same time to help the fluidity after the soldering material is melted.
do.
As the leakage is prevented and the wettability of the brazing material is increased, the joint area of the face-to-face is increased.
The bonding strength can also be increased.
● Condition of flux
   1) Melting temperature range (MP: 567 ~ 575℃)
     - When the melting point is reached, it must be completely dissolved on the surface of the clad material between Al parts.
     - The clad material must be in a molten state at a melting temperature of 575℃ or less.
   2) Activity and thermal stability
     - When the melting point is reached, it acts on the oxide film on the surface of Al (alloy) to remove it.
     to have the ability
     - Viscosity, surface tension, activity, etc. should be stable for brazing operation
   3) wettability
     - When the melting point is reached, there is complete wettability to the base material and the filler material (clad).
It should have good flow and diffusivity in solution state.
